These terms cover your use of this website.
They do not cover work we do for clients. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between us and the client. If anything in these terms conflicts with that agreement, that agreement applies.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using this website
You may read and print pages from this site, and share links to them.
You must not:
- Use the site in any way that breaks the law

The sample Readiness Audit report is a redacted specimen of work we do for clients. The same terms apply to it.
The information here is general
Everything on this site is general information. It is not advice about your product, your project or your situation.
Where we publish costs, timescales, effort figures or defect frequencies, those come from our own work. They are there to be useful, not to be relied on. They are not a quote, an estimate or a prediction for what your situation will cost or take.
Where we write about standards and how software is built for regulated markets, we are describing our own work. Requirements differ between products and between markets. Nothing here is a substitute for advice on your own situation.
We try to keep the site accurate and current. We do not promise that it is.
